Tap your ride-share app of choice. Uber and Lyft can seamlessly get you to downtown Des Moines. Both ride-sharing services pick up passengers on the southern side of the terminal, just outside the exit from the baggage claim area.

Public Transportation

There’s Metro Transit to connect you to downtown. Des Moines Area Regional Transit (DART) taking the lead. If you’re flying in or out on a Monday through Friday, DART’s got your back with bus service to and from the airport. It’s all about making sure you’ve got smooth moves, no matter where you’re headed.

Car Rental

We’ve got you covered with a bunch of rental car options. You won’t have to wander far either – all the rental car agencies are right there in the terminal’s baggage claim area.

At Surety, we love your pups as much as you do! You do ask that you only bring pets under 50 pounds and limit to two per room.

Note: A $75 fee is required at check in to allow us to thoroughly clean and sanitize the room after your departure. No pets over 50 pounds are permitted and no more than two pets are allowed per guest room.
