Harvest Vegetable Wine Dinner at Mulberry Street Tavern
Indulge in the season with our “Harvest Vegetable” wine dinner on October 21st, 2024, at 6:30 pm. Executive Chef Michael Holman, in partnership with Blue Ribbon Gardens, Ray Family Farms, and Lee’s Gardens, has curated a three-course experience that showcases the peak flavors of fall produce, expertly paired with charming wines by Wine Director JC Shurts.
Menu Highlights:
- AUTUMN HARVEST BISQUE: A comforting blend of coal-roasted squash, pumpkin, and apple, enhanced with cultured cream, pickled cauliflower, focaccia crouton, and pepitas oil. Paired with the effervescent Laurent-Perrier, La Cuvee Brut, NV, Champagne, France.
- BRUSSELS SPROUTS ON THE STALK: Wood-grilled Brussels sprouts served on the stalk, accompanied by creamy chipotle goat cheese grits, crispy shiitake bacon, and a tangy cherry-balsamic gastrique. Complemented by the bold Molly Dooker, “The Boxer,” Shiraz, 2019, from McLaren Vale, South Australia.
- STONE FRUIT + RHUBARB CRISP: A delightful dessert featuring toasted oats, buttermilk-honey ice cream, crushed walnut brittle, and apricot syrup. Paired with the luscious Far Niente, “Dolce,” Late Harvest Blend from Napa, California.
